Laminate surfaces go to chipping or general waste; natural stone is separated for specialist processing. Sinks are routed to metal recycling. Large structural elements - kitchen islands, breakfast bars, integrated shelving - are treated as bulky waste disposal where they exceed standard furniture dimensions.
MDF, chipboard, and solid wood panels from kitchen units are handled separately from structural timber. High-density board goes to chipping and energy recovery. A full base cabinet run weighs 200-400 kg. A granite worktop alone can weigh 30 kg per metre. Without a van and at least two people, this is not a realistic self-service job. Our two-person minimum team and correct equipment mean nothing gets dropped on a staircase or scratched across a floor.
Fridges, dishwashers, ovens, and other electrical appliances cannot go out with a Sperrgutmarke. ERZ explicitly excludes these from kerbside collection.
